Postcard – Dokudami

Greeting card or print for framing postcard size.

Washi paper from Yatsuo, hand-decorated in Kanagawa Prefecture using a stencil dyeing technique called Katazome.

Each print may vary slightly from the other.

The back of the card is white to allow the addition of a message.

In traditional Japanese medicine, dried DOKUDAMI leaves are served as tea to purify the body. With the arrival of autumn, many in Japan – including geishas – brew cups of Dokudami tea as a healthy drink during the cold and flu season.
