Greeting card or print for framing postcard size.

Washi paper from Yatsuo, hand-decorated in Kanagawa Prefecture using a stencil dyeing technique called Katazome.

Each print may vary slightly from the other.

The back of the card is white to allow the addition of a message.

FURIN are bells that are hung and left tinkling in the wind during the summer months – the hottest and most humid season in Japan.
It is believed that the gentle sound on the one hand makes the sultry heat less oppressive and on the other hand keeps evil spirits away from inhabited places.
